Mission & Principles
The mission of the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Lake Forest is to promote the spiritual development of individuals and the collective well-being of our city. Our efforts are rooted in the belief that spiritual education is the foundation for lasting social change.
We are committed to building communities characterized by unity, justice, and the elimination of all forms of prejudice. This involves creating spaces where people of all ages can develop their spiritual capacities and apply them through acts of service to others.
Our History
The Bahá'í community has been a part of Orange County for many years. Here in Lake Forest, the Spiritual Assembly serves as the local governing council, guiding the community's development through prayer and consultation.
Since its formation, the Assembly has sought to be of service to the Lake Forest area. Over the years, we have strived to contribute by working alongside local organizations, joining in interfaith conversations, and hosting moral education classes. We are simply a diverse group of neighbors, dedicated to walking alongside our fellow residents to help foster harmony and goodwill in Lake Forest.
